Theora
first began her personal yoga practice in 1975 in her home in the US
Virgin Islands. Since that time she has lived and practiced in the eastern,
mid western and western parts of the US. In 1995 she moved to Vermont.
In 1997 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and
found the practice of yoga to be a integral part of her healing process.
As a result of her desire to share the gifts of yoga
with others, she subsequently completed the Basic Kripalu Teacher Training
Course and is presently working toward completing the Advanced Teacher
Training Course. She offers classes and workshops for those enjoying
good health as well as for women touched by cancer and their caregivers.
Her classes combine asana (yoga postures) practice, meditation, breathwork,
and relaxation.
Theora holds a Masters degree in Special Education,
is a Registered Nurse, a Resonant Kinesiologist and a Certified Kripalu
Yoga Teacher. She invites you to come and experience the vast benefits
of yoga.
